I still don’t really agree with the Bigfoot 2024 make America believe again shirt besides I will buy this rule given the boys are allowed to pull down their zoot suits – I think the school should mandate both sexes keeping their chests, backs and abdomens covered if they are not going to allow the girls to dress more lightly. That would be fairer and more appropriate. However, I do kind of get why they don’t want to risk some of the bustier girls in the crews wearing very low cut and revealing sports bras and crop tops. At the end of the day, they are supposed to be focusing on their rowing, not competing against each other to see who can look the hottest or attract the most male attention. Pretty much the same as the 1 piece swimsuit rule – it is easier to mandate the more modest option than to give alternative options and deal with the fallout of having to tell some girls that their attire is inappropriate and deal with the inevitable complaints which follow.
